    • Theta–gamma oscillations linked to memory consolidation in hippocampal networks.

    • Biochemical–Combos (Dimension 3): balanced release of dopamine, serotonin, and noradrenaline sustains prolonged motivation states. But if imbalanced, it can generate addiction (attention hijacked by social media, games, or ideologies).

  • Neurochemistry of habit:

    • Dopamine → reinforces reward routines.

    • Serotonin → stabilizes mood and long-term regulation.

    • Chronic cortisol → may crystallize the soul into defensive rigidity.


Prolonged Soul: Open or Rigid

  • Open: the soul uses prolonged attention to explore new combinations — healthy habits, creative narratives, continuous learning.

  • Rigid: the soul crystallizes into automatisms, repeating social and cultural patterns without reflection. Attention becomes an alienating filter that blocks new experiences.


Attention as the Engine of Habits

Attention, prolonged across minutes and hours, is like the rehearsal of an orchestra:

  • It can tune different instruments, allowing plasticity (open attention).

  • Or repeat the same notes endlessly, creating rigidity (crystallized attention).

If rigid, the same routine may become a prison, blocking other life dimensions.
